Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

Hello I started this topic in an attempt to convince OZC to take on the project of releasing a HQ dual-audio version of the anime series Gurren Lagann. This series is among the very best anime has to offer and I feel it deserves to have a quality release. An english dub of the series is obtainable as are HQ 720p japanese raws of the series. While I have both I am unfortunately not up to the task of merging them. However as far as I can tell no official Blu-ray set has been released in Japan. I don't know if that disqualifies the series as a candidate; if so I apologize but as this is one of my favorite series to date I had to give it a shot. Thanks in advance for your consideration.

Unfortunately, I don't really like working with TV rips as there are often factors in the animation that can prevent a proper sync of the audio, as well as network logos and other assorted things on screen that would not be present in a BD release. Additionally, my understanding is that the 720p version is a basic broadcast upscale and not taken from HD masters of any sort.

I've heard a lot of good things about the show and would be interested in picking it up, but without a BD release, it's not really eligible as it stands.
