Clannad Blueray

The clannad Blueray discs are coming out the 30th of april. I was wondering if you guys could do them? I know you have lots of projects already but I thought i would ask anyway.

Yeah Clannad is definitely in my top 3 anime as well

This is in my top 3 all-time favorite anime series along with Monster and Ghost in the Shell. Please give this the justice it deserves .

There is a dual-audio R1 Clannad Complete Collection set to come out in June. It's licensed by Sentai Filmworks so it should be okay.

Well, it meets all the requirements so I guess it qualifies for consideration we would need donations though, it is an expensive set.

There is a bit of hesitation on my part since it is Sentai Filmworks, and being the former ADV, they used to be pretty aggressive about protecting their licenses. Since it wouldn't be something we'd be doing immediately, I'd have time to observe the situation, but I want to see how they handle anyone who might rip the dual audio DVDs before I make a decision.

Ah yeah, this is certainly a show I have kept on hearing about repeatedly. An OZC release for it would give me a perfect excuse to watch it.

correct me if i'm wrong but i believe that exiled-destiny already ripped the subbed only dvd's released by sentai and they plan on ripping the dual audio. it's also posted up on bakabt... would they be more aggressive now that they have a english dub for it even tho they already released it once?

i'm not gonna lie, being a fan of mostly action and what not anime, i was hesitant to watch this subbed. lol but to be completely honest, this was by far the best one i've seen all year. you don't need an excuse to watch it, i almost cried haha and no that doesn't make me less of a man, so the same goes for you. haha

Definitely would want to watch this series in english dubs.

Well, that's kind of what I'm wondering about. The way I see it is that if they are recovering enough to go back and dub the show now, that could very well mean they have recovered enough to start being more aggressive with takedowns. If E-D is going to rip the DVDs, that'll give me something to watch to see if they are approached about it. That is pretty much going to go for any Sentai/S23 release, but at least in this case I'll be able to watch it as it happens.

umm how expensive is this going to be? cuz i know when i looked at the R2 Blu-Rays a while back they where in the $300+ range and because of that i am pretty sure that NO ONE has even riped the R2 Blu-Rays yet. correct me if I am wrong but i dont think that kind of price tag is worth it. not saying that this show isnt one of the best anime's i have seen (cuz it is) but unless you can find the R2 Blu-Rays SOMEWHERE i just cant see it.
