- 1. Do not request a series already on the approved release list.
2. NO FUNIMATION LICENSES. NO EXCEPTIONS. Shows that Funimation distributes for other companies may be accepted. You can check license status by checking Funimation's site, ANN, or the BakaBT Do Not Upload list.
3. New requests should go in their own thread. If a request thread for a particular series already exists, please post in there. Do not start a new thread. Duplicate threads will be locked, merged, or deleted. Each individual series MUST have it's own thread. No list threads. Each thread should be titled ONLY the name of the series. No "Can you do this?" or other such non-descriptive titles.
4. Requests must fit the following criteria:
- a. There must be a remastered or Blu-ray release in Japan(Region 2) that is unavailable in the US(Region 1). If there is a Region 1 version that is equal quality to the Region 2 version, your request will be denied.
b. Except under special circumstances, projects must be dual audio. Special circumstances include series released in Region 1 subtitle-only. (e.g. MS IGLOO. The Region 1 DVD is subtitle-only, but there is a Region 2 Blu-ray available.)
c. As an extension to the dual audio rule, we are not a traditional fansubbing group. Don't request new shows currently airing in Japan as we work with official DVD subtitles except in certain situations where we will use fansubs. (e.g. Macross Frontier)
6. For any series that is approved, I have to have the DVD's to source the English audio and subtitles from. If I don't have the DVD's, the project can't be done unless I can fund the purchase of them through ad revenue and donations.
Keep in mind that I will commonly reply to threads for series that are denied, but may or may not comment in threads for series that I might otherwise consider. If I confirm a project for release, the thread will be locked with a note stating the project has been approved.
